I visited the Budawangs...Thanks for this blog post. I visited the Budawangs for the first time a couple of days ago, attempting Byangee Mountain from Long Gully Campground, though the final ascent was clearly beyond my skill and fitness, and not to be attempted alone. Found this post while researching the geology of the Budawangs looking for the rocks that make up the conglomerate.
